U23 Vietnam national soccer team to compete in M-150 Cup 2017

Vietnam U-23 team will compete in the international friendly soccer tournament M-150 Cup 2017 in Thailand between 9th and 15th December, 2017.
The event will include six teams: U23 Myanmar, U23 Uzbekistan, U23 team of the Democratic People´s Republic of Korea (DPRK), U23 Thailand, U23 Japan and U23 Vietnam.

According to the draw, U23 Vietnam are in Group B alongside U23 Thailand and U23 Myanmar, while Group A consists of U23 Japan, U23 DPRK and U23 Uzbekistan.
They will compete in a round-robin format. The top two teams of each group will advance to the semi-final.
The champions will be rewarded with USD20,000.
U23 Vietnam will face the hosts U23 Thailand in December 9, 2017 at I-Mobile stadium in Buriram, Thailand in their opening game.
This will be the first cup new coach Park Hang Seo takes charge of U23 Vietnam national soccer team. This is the preparing for the AFC U-23 Championship China 2018 in January, 2018 in China. In the AFC U-23 Championship China 2018, U23 Vietnam is in group D with U23 Australia, U23 South Korea and U23 Syria.
